About Cora
Established in 1969, Cora is a decentralized family-owned company with 60 stores in France, a dozen in Belgium and Luxembourg, and 12 in Romania. Cora belongs to the Louis Delhaize group, which includes Match supermarkets, the Houra online supermarket, and Truffaut garden centers.
Cora Informatique employs around 200 professionals serving the Louis Delhaize retail group, managing 70 million cash register tickets, 24,000 pieces of equipment, and 4,000 production changes per year!
Context
In 2018, the Cora group embarked on a major transformation plan, and the IT department was not exempt. However, the IT department had no visibility into its entire portfolio of activities. The decision to equip itself with a PPM solution to manage IT activities from start to finish was therefore made in November 2018.
Until then, Cora Informatique had been using an in-house time tracking solution, not integrated with the IT system, to track the time of project managers. Billing for service providers, carried out in parallel, was long and tedious. In addition, the aging tool did not offer the possibility of evolution to meet the new need for visibility across the entire portfolio.
Why Triskell?
Cora naturally conducted an audit of the various PPM solutions on the market.
One of the strong constraints of the project was that the new tool had to guarantee continuity of service. It had to be operational within the same scope for tracking, valuing time spent, and time tracking for billing service providers in less than two months.
The functional richness of the Triskell Software PPM platform and its ease of implementation were two determining criteria in the choice of Cora Informatique’s PMOs.
To ensure continuity of service, we had to implement the new solution in just 2 months. This challenge was met thanks to the simplicity of the tool and the responsiveness of the Triskell Software team

- Business request portfolio, with a well-defined arbitration process
- Project portfolio enriched, with new steering tools for project managers: milestones, risk matrix, reviews and highlights, modulated according to the type of project.
- CAPEX portfolio.
- Portfolio of past times.
- Quality indicator portfolio.
Thanks to the structure of the solution, business units have also been able to be integrated into the portfolio.
Cora Informatique now has a single centralized tool for:
- In-depth monitoring of one or more portfolios using indicators & program / project / milestone views
- Billing its service providers
- Financial and capacity control of the IT department
- Decision support tools.
