Company overview
Founded in 1966, Sodexo is a historical player in meal vouchers and a leader in gift vouchers. Operating in 56 countries, Sodexo serves 100 million consumers daily with a unique offer of On-Site Services, Benefits & Rewards Services, and Personal & Home Services.
Sodexo employs 412,000 people worldwide, making it the largest French employer abroad.
Context
In 2020, the Sodexo group embarked on a vast transformation plan. It was decided to consolidate the previously highly decentralized IT activities, which were managed by 7 independent teams worldwide, into a single global team.
However, the new IT department faced complex portfolio and roadmap management issues: heterogeneous practices and maturities, no common processes, lack of project management culture, limited capacity management…
A major PMO initiative was launched to align and equip IT processes globally.
Why Triskell?
Sodexo needed a common tool and shared visibility to stop wasting time searching for information and accelerate decision-making. The Triskell PPM platform stood out for the following reasons:
- Wide functional coverage, especially in budgeting in an international context.
- Quality of the integrator (Easis consulting).
- Competitive pricing.
Triskell has provided visibility in the request validation process and end-to-end tracking. This is a clear benefit for everyone at Sodexo.

Implementation of the Triskell solution
Since April 2021, the PMO team has been deploying Triskell iteratively to cover the following areas:
- Development of regional roadmaps.
- End-to-end management of INITIATIVES and REQUESTS.
- Prioritization of requests based on alignment with strategy.
- Development of CAPEX and OPEX budgets.
- Implementation of automated milestones and deliverables: detailed planning.
- Budget management.
- Risk monitoring.
Sodexo IT now has a centralized tool to:
- Have a reference portfolio to start the year.
- Validate requests.
- Track the execution of validated requests.
Benefits – Shared visibility and simplified tracking
- Reference portfolio: the IT department now has a unique reference portfolio that brings together all projects, allowing the year to kick off. Portfolio reviews are now possible!
- Process unification: unified process for managing business and IT requests globally, structured scoping phase, visibility of validations, etc.
- End-to-End visibility: tracking the execution of each validated request, from the original initiative during annual plan preparation to its execution as a project during the year.
Triskell offers broader and shared visibility between IT teams and cross-functional teams, which is a real plus for us. It gives us end-to-end visibility: from the original initiative during the annual plan preparation to its execution as a project throughout the year.
