Should Lean and Agile Organizations Limit Projects to Maximize Success?

Organizations are constantly thinking of more efficient ways to operate in order to remain profitable, effective and even relevant in their industry. At least they should be because competition for the remaining dollars is sometimes fierce and high profit margins on the engagements that we take in are nearly impossible to realize as we strive to do everything we can to please and retain the good paying customers that we are fortunate enough to obtain. There is always the knowledge that they can and will take their business elsewhere. It’s not so much that we are in a down market. We aren’t. But it is a tight market and a competitive one too. Only the dinosaurs are signing off. The rest are grasping for the dollars left.
