Context
In 2019, the IT department of Manpower France already had a PPM tool in place. However, it was outdated and no longer satisfactory as it caused difficulties on three levels:
- Time entry: inflexible tool, no alerts for rejected times, leading to poor practices.
- Formalize and modernize existing processes to make them more efficient.
- Limit the (too many!) projects in progress and better prioritize new requests.
Why Triskell?
After deciding to change tools and evaluating several PPM solutions on the market, Manpower found in Triskell the 3 key features it was looking for:

Implementation process
The deployment of the solution was carried out in 2 stages:
1. Secure time entry by January 1, 2020, just 2 months after launch
This first Go Live was in just in just two months, and it was possible by involving field teams right from the RFP stage. Project managers and domain heads also tested the solution during the configuration phase. Simplifying workflows was also crucial, with a recommendation to limit the process to 5 time lines.
- Time entry and validation for both internal staff and external TMA staff.
- More precise tracking of project costs, corrective maintenance, and operations, an essential element from a budgetary perspective.
- Simplification of the billing process for the third-party application maintenance provider.
2. Manage projects and portfolios
Manpower’s IT department was practically starting from scratch. Thanks to Triskell, now it has:
- A single source of information to track all projects and generate project status reports in a few clicks.
- Standardized reporting with monthly Flash Reports in a few clicks.
- A monthly roadmap shared between the IT department and business units.
In a continuous improvement logic and thanks to the autonomy of administrators regarding Triskell’s configuration, the IT department will work on workload and capacity management.
